ABOUT US
Federal Way (WA)Festival Days 2003
Jose' was born and reared in Spain. His father was an olive and almond farmer and also worked in a wood shop. He taught him many principles about honesty and hard work. Through persistance and dedication, much can be accomplished.
Jose' left Spain in 1986 and went to Mexico, and then to Stockton, California where he met his wife Lia in college. They moved to Seattle where she was from and started a family. Jose' had vowed he would never come home dusty like his father had, but well, you know the story. Out of curiosity and a hobby, his love for woodworking quickly became an occupation.
Today and 6 children later, they live in beautiful Upstate New York. The abundance of hardwoods and mills on the east coast make it a pleasure to choose the lumber for the next project.
Along the way, Jose' has won a few 1st place awards. These are his latest from the years 2008, 2009 and 2010 at the Cornhill Arts & Crafts Festival in Rochester, New York.
